Who they are:
The Sajos Academy Kiserian is a school run by the YES WE CAN SELF HELP GROUP in Kenya, a community based organization with the goal of providing education to orphans and street children. The also provide for the children’s health and nutrition, advocates for H.I.V awareness, drug abuse, adult literacy, women empowerment and food security in Kiserian Village.
Currently the Academy is providing nursery education and primary education to children from poor families and orphans. Additionally, it aids the community with programs in adult literacy, medical care, food for the schoolchildren, sponsorship for primary education, spreading HIV/AIDS awareness, and organizing activities and sporting events.
